Terms of Service

Effective date: July 8, 2026 · Last updated: July 8, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Crosac — whether as a business partner or a customer — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What Crosac is

Crosac is a local business review platform that helps customers share their experiences and helps businesses build their online reputation. Crosac provides tools including NFC tap cards, AI-assisted review suggestions, a partner business carousel, and a customer notification system.

3. Business partners

Businesses that join the Crosac network ("partners") agree to the following: all information provided about their business must be accurate and up to date; they will not use Crosac to solicit fake, misleading, or incentivized reviews; they are responsible for the promo content they publish through the platform; and they understand that Crosac facilitates the review process but does not guarantee any specific number of reviews or Google star ratings.

Crosac reserves the right to remove any business from the network that violates these terms, posts misleading content, or engages in practices that harm customers or other partners.

4. Customers

Customers using Crosac agree that any review they submit reflects their genuine personal experience. Using AI-suggested text is permitted — the suggestions are writing tools, and the customer selects and submits what they believe to be an honest account of their visit. Submitting false or fabricated reviews is prohibited.

5. Review authenticity

Crosac is built on the integrity of real reviews. Neither businesses nor customers may use the platform to manufacture, manipulate, or artificially inflate review counts or ratings. Crosac may remove accounts or partners found to be doing so, and may report violations to Google where applicable.

6. Intellectual property

The Crosac platform, branding, and software are owned by Crosac. Business partners retain ownership of their own business information, promo content, and images uploaded to the platform. By uploading content, you grant Crosac a licence to display that content within the platform.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Access to Crosac for founding member businesses is currently provided at no cost or at the rate agreed upon individually. Crosac reserves the right to introduce subscription pricing in the future. Existing partners will be given reasonable notice before any pricing changes take effect.

8. Limitation of liability

Crosac is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific review outcomes, or Google ranking improvements. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crosac is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Termination

Either party may end their relationship with Crosac at any time. Crosac may suspend or remove access for any partner or user who violates these terms, without prior notice in cases of serious violations.

10. Changes to these terms

Crosac may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated to active partners directly.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
